Collective coupling of a macroscopic number of single-molecule magnets with a microwave cavity mode.
We report the observation of strong coupling of a macroscopic ensemble of ∼1016 Fe8 molecular nanomagnets to the resonant mode of a microwave cavity. We use millimeter-wave spectroscopy to measure the splitting of the system's resonant frequency induced by the coupling between the spins and the cavity mode. The magnitude of this splitting is found to scale with √N, where N is the number of coll...
متن کاملCoupling single molecule magnets to ferromagnetic substrates.
We investigate the interaction of TbPc(2) single molecule magnets (SMMs) with ferromagnetic Ni substrates. Using element-resolved x-ray magnetic circular dichroism, we show that TbPc(2) couples antiferromagnetically to Ni films through ligand-mediated superexchange. This coupling is strongly anisotropic and can be manipulated by doping the interface with electron acceptor or donor atoms. We obs...
متن کاملa comparison of linguistic and pragmatic knowledge: a case of iranian learners of english
15 صفحه اولa decsription of persian deixis
the significance of the study of deixis was then mentioned. the purpose of the present study from the outset was to provide a comprehensive overview of all kinds of deixis in persian, describing and defining each in true while considering them structurally and semantically. chapter two consisted of two main parts. a review of the english studies in this respect, besides presenting persian liter...
15 صفحه اولSingle-Molecule Magnets
Single-molecule magnets (SMMs) continue to be an attractive research field because of their unique and intriguing properties and potential applications in high-density data storage technologies and molecular spintronics. The anisotropic barrier (U) of an SMM is derived from a combination of an appreciable spin ground state (S) and uniaxial Ising-like magneto-anisotropy (D). The magnet-like beha...
